The Showcase Gallery is strictly for finished artworks.
 
Artists needing more assistance or artists just starting out are kindly advice to post their artworks in the sub-forum, Work In Progress and Critique. We are going to make an attempt to really bring the caliber of work up on the site for everyone. Not just beginners.
 
There is a group of professionals and moderators that will be moving threads to the suitable forums in order to best be able to assist you all. Posts in these areas will get the appropriate critiques.  
 
The Showcase Gallery can then deal with more intermediate and high level critique while we can focus on foundation in the Work In Progress and Critique sub-forum.
 
Critiques need to be more constructive and LESS complimentary. Great pieces deserve compliments obviously and don't hesitate to give compliments..but also feel free to be honest about how you think works or artists could improve by offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. That would really be of great help, to both the artist and members alike
